National Neuromonitoring is a leader in the field of Intra-operative neuromonitoring headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. We are a rapidly growing company in which 100% of our clinical staff possesss a strong science background, effective communication skills, and a desire to become a trusted and valuable clinical resource in the operating room.

Our initial 3 month training curriculum includes a comprehensive didactic training program lead by experienced surgical neurophysiologists. The program includes in-depth training in the following areas:  neurophysiology, anatomy and physiology, anesthesia/neuro anesthesia pharmacology, and operating room shadowing of spine, orthopedic, neurosurgical, ear, nose, throat and vascular surgical procedures. After the initial 3 month period individuals will continue with daily surgical field training, hands on patient care, physician interaction, x-ray film teaching of anatomical landmarks/anomilies, as well as continuing to prepare to sit the ABRET boards to obtain their CNIM license.
 
From a clinical standpoint, each fellow will participate in a clinical mentorship with proctoring by advanced degree holding experienced surgical neurophysiologists. Our fellowship program is intended to fully prepare each individual for the national certificaon examination. National Neuromonitoring clinical staff is comprised of 95% nationally board certified physiologists by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).

In order to comply with all hospital protocols and guidelines our staff is trained in basic life support (by our in-house AHA qualified instructors), HIPPA training, blood borne pathogen policies and procedures, OSHA, and needle safety training. National Neuromonitoring uses ASET, ACNS and ASNM as guides in setting standards for performance, competencies, and quality of care provided.
