Developing IOM Technologists:
Our Fellowship Program
National Neuromonitoirng provides internal training through our IOM Fellowship Program. Our Program consists of a 21-week intensive training which includes weekly lectures and daily OR clinicals. Our goal is to develop quality IOM professionals and deliver quality neuromonitoring for our patient population.
National is committed to provide abundant resources to our fellows. Our priority is your success in this program, therefore all fellows are guided through this process by our fellowship trained preceptors/instructors from the very start.
To ensure proficiency, we require each fellow to successfully pass a battery of comprehensive final examinations and demonstrate IOM clinical competencies before the competing the program. After successful completion of the Fellowship Program, the fellow will transition into a study plan and board reviews in preparation for board examination. Every fellow from our program is required to be CNIM eligible within seven months.
Our fellowship body consists of diverse degree backgrounds with a passion for neuroscience and patient care. To become a candidate, one must possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree. Other degrees considered are Doctor of Chiropractic, Foreign MD, PhD, and Masters in neuroscience. In rare circumstances, non-degree considerations may include R. EEG or R. EPT.
